FLUORESOFT® - 0.35% is indispensable as a diagnostic aid in detecting:
- Epithelial abnormalities in patients
- Abnormalities in the tear film, both prior and subsequent to contact lens wear
- Epithelial damage due to contact lens wear or other trauma
- Contact lens discomfort due to shortening of the tear film break-up time
- Applanation Tonometry

FLUORESOFT® - 0.35% is useful as a fitting aid for
soft & hybrid contact lenses to:
- Evaluate cornea - lens relationship
- Evaluate contact lens tolerance in contact lens patients
- Diagnose complications resulting from contact lens wear
- Locate lathe-cut lens markings
FLUORESOFT® - 0.35% is indispensable as a diagnostic solution and fitting aid. The use of FLUORESOFT® as a replacement for sodium fluorescein provides additional fitting and diagnostic benefits to both the eye-care professional and their patients.
As a diagnostic aid, FLUORESOFT® - 0.35% provides quick and accurate detection of both dry eye syndrome and premature tear break up time. FLUORESOFT® eliminates the 1-2 hour waiting period required when using sodium fluorescein. The initial contact lens fitting may be performed immediately after the application of the diagnostic solution. The elimination of the waiting period saves valuable chair time allowing the practitioner to reduce patient wait time and increase patient satisfaction.
FLUORESOFT® - 0.35% is preservative free solution. It is safe for use on all soft and hard lenses and will not stain the contact lenses when used as directed. As a fitting solution, FLUORESOFT® - 0.35% is ideal for assessing proper fitting characteristics of hydrogel contact lenses and quick and accurate location of the optic zone in aphakic or low plus lenses. FLUORESOFT® - 0.35% can also be used to evaluate the corneal integrity of patients wearing hydrogel contact lenses.
